  • Plant ID x2

I think this one is a weed because of the way it is spreading, coming up all over the place. It wasn't there last year so probably survived the composting process.

This one is growing a bit slower

    TIA

I'm not sure about the first one, but I reckon the second is a willowherb.

Is it a weed Martin and would it mind being dug up and put in a pot until I decide where to put it?

Yes it's a weed and will spread like mad if you don't control it.

I think they are both weeds. Based on the fact I keep pulling up similar on my plot. Not sure what they are though.

Agree with above for photo 2. Do the leaves smell of plant 1? Looks a bit like a mint.

Not sure about the first but that second pic looks like the weed I had loads of last year on the allotment - I was forever pulling it up It has pink flowers and is Broad-leaved Willowherb. It's just starting to grow now n my plot so I'm pulling it up as I pass

I've been pulling some up today. Not sure what it is but it spreads like mad. Never seen any flowers on it. Chuck it out
