The first one is Love in a mist or to be posh Nigella. The second one is a variety of Aquilegia or Colombine. They will both self seed if you leave them alone.Gardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. Lou Erickson, critic and poetComment

I think the first two are cornflower and the second lot are aquilegiait may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

NIgella makes round balloon-like pods, that dry out and rattle with seeds - bit like poppies, I think!Comment

When I increased the first photos I would say that roitelet is correct Nigellait may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
