Leggy Wallflowers

Just a quick question. My wallflowers are all planted now and are looking healthy bu they are very leggy. Is it okay to 'prune' them a bit so that when they get going in spring they bush out?

I always pinch the tops out of mine to encourage them to side shoot

Thanks roitelet, I did pinch the tops out.........on the first lot I planted but totally forgot about the ones I sowed at the allotment. The first ones are looking lovely and bushy but the second are very leggy. So it's not too late then?
