I love 'em too - and the leaves/flowers/seed pods all get used by us. Must get some started!

Glorious photo.
I have them self-seeding all over the veg garden and just move the seedlings around to where I want them. They make good ground cover under the tomatoes and the like, and at the end of the season they collapse and protect the soil.
Pretty, useful and edible

They start a leaf at a time, so long as you nip that leaf out and dispose then they don't become infested and no issues in using for salads or sandwiches - it's a great way to keep blackfly off the rest of your plants too!Originally posted by Alison View PostMine are always covered in black fly which puts me off eating too many
