  • Identify if you can please

The wife bought this from Morrison's last year and planted it, she forgot to keep the tab, now, its nearly 7ft tall, it only has one main stalk/stem from the ground, with many smaller off shoots, I've got it tied to a wall bracket just now, any and all help will be gratefully appreciated.

    Potato vine?

Or potato flowering vine - something named similar to that... is my guess I saw one in my local garden centre, thought someone had mistakenly put a spud in a pot next to all the climbers !

Yep, known as the Chilean Potato Vine. The one you usually get is Glasnevin, I think. It's a real looker isn't it?

This (hopefully) is a picture of the full plant, she's not pruned it at all, and I think its time for a hair cut....

Nah. It's a climber - give it a bit of trellis and stand back!

Stop it (nip the growing tips out) when you've had enough but it's a lovely plant. If you can let it have its head it will look fantastic.
