Darn...my cat has jumped through some new tubs of plants that I've just got from the garden centre.
She's managed to snap out the middle 1/3 of an azalea which was 18" x 18".
I've stuck the huge chunk in water- but how do I manage to root it...or am I being unrealistic????

. If you have a bit of the garden that won't be disturbed, create a slit with your spade and stick the branch in there and leave it for a year or so. If you are lucky, it may take, but to be honest, I doubt if it will. Still nothing ventured nothing gained.
