Sweet Pea sowing...

I hope this really doesnt sound like too dumber question, but if I want to climb my sweetpeas with my runner beans, and have them flowering together, should I start or should have started my sweetpeas now?

Ideally, yes, but its not too late.

Don't want to be "Nanny State", but make sure that folk that obligingly offer to pick & de-string etc. know the difference between the Runner Bean and the Sweetpea Pod. I'm not sure I could trust some of the children, particularly the "townies", that come to visit to know the difference, or to be aware that the Sweetpeas seeds are poisonous.
