Sounds like a lot of hassle...I was just going to pop them in the fridge/freezer for a few weeks and then sow them...

HOw did it work then if miss Willmot just threw them around? I wonder how they grew? Sounds like they self seed once sown, so how does that work?

Ive just shoved mine back in the fridge i their pots and will keep an eye on them! Fingers crossed!

(BTW thea think my loty buddy may have given away cherokee beans? Sorry !Will have a look see what else I can pop in the envelope!)

I had a couple come out last year in my seaside garden but fancied some more. Heard they could be tempremental from seed so I cheated. I will share a trick with other grapes but dont let it go any further. Go down to Poundland and buy 4 plug size in a placcie bag for �1.

I have bought a packet called silver ghost and have had no luck with the first few I tried so thanks for your tip I will try the freezer method...:@) abby

Actually I thought it would be quite interesting to see if they did sell them, but the ones down here dont have anything like it.

No they don't sell them here any more. All 4 of mine are doing nicely but I did buy them 6 weeks ago. You gotta be quick off the mark for these things.
