Not sure about spring... more like armageddon here in the west of scotland.....blowing a "HOOLIE" as we say up here..anything that might be thinking about showing through the soil around here has probably changed it mind in the last few hours!!!
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand
    .

The garden I was in this afternoon, has Snowdrops in flower - beautiful dainty little things - and about a million of them. However, it also has Goosegrass growing strongly, a couple of plants were even budding! They ain't now!

This is our first spring in our house, so we are waiting to see what was already here. There are definitely daffs coming up, hundreds of the things, possibly some tulips too. I wait with trepidation. Our hellebores in the pots are showing new growth, but only just.

Spring is definitely here. After a few days away we now have snowdrops out and 2 dwarf irises in a pot and there are loads and loads of daffs everywhere.

Snowdrops out today when I got home, and beetroot and peas germinated in the greenhouse.

                Yay!

We saw frogs last night - the mild temp this week has brought them out of hibernation

I saw two the other day, only problem - they were dead and floating. Hopefully that's the last of the fatalities. On a lighter note, I noticed the wild garlic I have in pots sunk in the ground, is just starting to show. Was quite excited
