    probably, soft wire either silver coloured or green plastic covering about 1" diameter ( there is a bigger size as well)

      overlapping cut circles ? i think i have them already. would be far handier using them than twine and undoing knots, but i've always had difficulty in taking them off whilst avoiding crushing a stem.

      have now got a watch on the SP book at auction.

            I've just done some weeding for my (non-gardening) brother and uncovered his sweet peas which are already 6 inches high - they have been outside since self-seeding last autumn. They've been cold, down to minus 4, but look strong and healthy. Makes me wonder why we bother to sow them indoors first?

                    Well done mrskp, It is a superb book I've read it more than once and only grow a few for cutting !!

                    Snadger had a new variety of sweet pea last year latin name Lathruy Nilliflorus sub species 'Bugger Hall'. Trouble is we're not sure what the flowers are like
