Honeysuckle mould?????

Not veg I know, but can anyone help me with my honeysuckle. Planted a new one and within a week the leaves had a covering of grey mould, then all died and fell off. Did start to rejunivate straight after but just keeps doing the same. Any ideas???!! Many thanks

Honeysuckle can attract aphids which excrete honeydew. It is the deposits of honeydew that then attract the mould. This two pronged attack is enough to kill young plants. If you can deal with the aphids you should be able to avoid the mould and give the plant a fighting chance.
