Sweet peas have a very hard seed coat, which can inhibit germination. Soaking the seed is often recommended (and that's what I do) but some people nick the seed or rub it with emery paper. Best of luck with them!

I've had litle success with sweetpeas for the last two years. Before that no probs. Tried a variety of different seeds, soaked and not soaked, inside outside. This year I cheated and bought some from B&Q. Had been doing great, but some leaves are starting to turn white???? Any suggestions
A good beginning is half the work.
Praise the young and they will make progress.
