snowdrops from seed

Hi my snowdrops have put out little green seed heads. Can anyone tell me how and when to collect the seeds and how to grow snowdrops next year from them. Has anyone tried it, does it work?

iv'e just grown some bluebells from seed collected last year. i sowed them into 3" pots and left them in greenhouse. they have just started to grow, hopefully snowdrops would be similar.
