What to do??

DH bought 3kilos of daffodils going cheap the other day. They are currently in the spare fridge (hardly used) - can I keep them there till autumn or do I have to plant them now? Thanks.

Put them in now Martha. They'll probably flower in June this year but they'll get into synch for next spring and flower at the usual time from then on.

I agree, plant them. Try to give them a liquid feed after they flower and before the leaves die back.

I bought some about now a few years ago- and planted them out.
Most of them didn't flower, and those which did , the flower ont lasted a couple of days in the summer sun/heat.
I think they'd dry out or rot if you tried to dry store them.

sooo...yup- get them in now!
