  • Dying Nasturtiums

Can anyone tell me why all my different Nasturtiums are dying off ? They are seemingly easy to grow but after starting out very healthy seedlings and small plants, they have just withered to a thin, wispy pale nothing for absolutely no reason. I have never had this problem before. This has happened to nearly all my plants, including shop bought in soil and containers.

My guess would be not enough water.

I've got a few in a dry clay soil border that I haven't looked after (Bad me!) that are looking very sorry for themselves and one that ended up in the raised bed for the vegetables that's been watered and had a bit of fertilizer. The flowerbed ones initially had flowers and the veg bed one just grew leaves. But now, the flowerbed ones have just about given up the ghost and the veg bed one is spilling over the path and flowering away quite happily.
Location:- Rugby, Warwckshire on Limy clay (within sight of the Cement factory)

The ones I have in shade are better than ones in sun. Like Mark my dried out clay hasn't helped.
