  • Evening primrose ?

    Does anyone have them?
This has sprouted from who knows where, a plant ID app says evening primrose. Really?🤔

I have some growing in my driveway
I’ll try and remember to take a piccie for you tomorrow.

Looks about right although I think mine might look a bit more full at their base…..

Looks like an evening primrose to me. I have them popping up all over, must have had seeds in my compost bin one time and I've spread them with the compost. If my garden was bigger I'd happily let them grow wherever they chose, but as it is, I have to be stern with them, especially in the veg bed.

        Endless wonder.

Yeah, definitely evening primrose. They're a common weed where I am.

They are also usually biennial, so that one won't flower until next year.

ID:	2601687 I’ve moved a few of mine from out of the middle of the driveway to the wall and they are doing fine. Just took them with a lot of soil before they got too big
