  • Plant ID please

Can anybody help me as regards the identity of this bush in my garden please. I planted it way back when me and Mrs G moved in 12 years ago but can't remember what it is. FYI it's about 4 feet tall and probably about the same spread. I intend to cut it back but want to know what it is so I can prune at the correct time.

I think viburnum too. evergreen viburnums have shiny leaves, most deciduous ones don't. There are lots of varieties of viburnum.

        Endless wonder.

Cotoneaster? Google suggests Milkflower Cotoneaster, slightly furry underside to the leaves. Have a check, Vince, and see what you think.

Think you're right Snoop thank you!

I have looked it up and it does get red berries all over it, we had a redwing visit the garden last year for them and it kept coming back each day until it had eaten the lot.

So according to the RHS I should've pruned it mid to late spring. D'oh !
