  • Overwintered geraniums?

Anyone managed it last year ?

Last year was the first time most of mine survived.
This year…doing exactly the same thing, only two out of the 16 have survived.

Ah well…that’s 2 less I need to buy at least

I don't think I've overwintered any this year unless there are some in my tubs of annuals that I've kept from last year. Its funny how some years they survive and others they don't.
We had the coldest Dec and Jan for a good few years this winter so I was amazed to discover lots of my annuals, french tarragon and lemon verbena have made it through!
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

Just one this year, but it was the one kept in the (unheated) utility room. We normally keep most of the summer grown ones in there but didn't have room this last time. They went in the unheated greenhouse and none survived. Often we get a few make it through the winter in the utility room.
