    Lovely pics Nick. I think your Californian poppies are actually Welsh poppies. i've been trying to get rid of them from my garden for years.

            I think youre right and I alternate between Welsh and Cali poppies when I talk about them

            Mrs T loves the darn things and has been sowing them all over the garden theyre even spread to our neighbours garden now
