Hi, I have fuchsia and geranium plug plants, they are in the house at the moment, do you think they would be ok in a unheated greenhouse , with fleece over them at night, I have dahlia seedlings in the greenhouse and they have been OK, just worried incase I kill the plug plants, thanks

I had tender plugs last year, I kept them inside unless the temperature was 10c in the greenhouse in the day and bought them in every night until night time temps were 10c too.

I think Dahlias, Fuchsias and Pelargoniums will all survive in a cold greenhouse as long as you can stop them freezing. But I would bring them in on those clear frosty nights when it can be even colder in the greenhouse than outside.

I wouldn't risk it - My memory is rubbish, and it only takes one cold night.

I managed to kill one of my Phalaenopsisorchids by leaving it in my unheated conservatory earlier this year.
