Asters

Can anyone give me some advice please.
My asters are getting eating at the top as the flowers and leaves come out the rest of the plant looks fine. All other bedding besides them are clean. Grown from seed by self.

There’s been tiny slugs eating my French marigold heads & whole plant nearly. Tiny snails eat daffodil flowers,maybe it’s them,they are greedy & love eating everything could look in the evening with a torch,I found five slugs on one marigold plant the other night.

Slugs and snails have been at my heleniums, I got out the slug pellets.

In this damp drizzly weather have a look through any hostas, particularly the backs of leaves, as it tends to bring the snails out even in daylight.

I can see their trails in the condensation in my greenhouse!

I call it slug rain due to it making them crawl in the daytime.

Loads of large snails round here. Slug pellets down but no sign of damage on lower leaves.
