    Really like this little stripy one that has popped up.
    shall have to save seeds from it for next year.

        Very pretty - were the parent plants very different from that?

          That's very pretty. I've never seen one like that, most unusual. It will be lovely if the seeds come true, you could flog it to a seed producer!

            I love marigolds and have a selection. I've never seen one like yours, and absolutely love it! If it comes true then I really think a seed firm would be interested.
            Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.

              Yes I’m very pleased with it.
              the parents were just a huge patch of self sown ones from last year.
              I’ve tied some red wool round a couple of flowers (to make sure that farendman doesn’t deadhead them in his deadheading enthusiasm!)and will sow them in the Autumn and see what happens.
              It will be exciting if they also come stripy.
              If they are good, then Babru, mothawk, Nicos and Ms-T will get a pinch!!
              I’ve made a note for spring 2021!!

                    Good luck with them. Even if only a few come up the same, you can keep sowing till they all come true, fingers crossed!
