Snakes head fritillary

Does anyone know what colour the bulbs of the snakes head fritillary are? Have been digging up a patch of my front garden which had mainly bluebells but a few snakes head too. Looks like the bluebell bulbs are white. There were a few brown bulbs too. Could these be the snakes head ?
