Hi again

I am raising my coop to make it easier to access. Do the hens have difficulty adjusting to the fact they cant just rush out in the morning? How can I prevent them hurting themselves as they always are in such a hurry to see the new morning?
Has anybody else had experience of this and if so how did it work?

I'm sure they will rush out whatever!!
Maybe make sure they have a softish landing so they don't jar their leg muscles and joints?
