It's just occurred to me to suggest that any of you with dogs, and hens, you can of course feed your dog with the eggs.
The raw food/prey diet suggests raw eggs with shell, but I like to feed them boiled, with most of the shell discarded (because the dog pulls a face if I give her shell).
How Much?
Mine gets 2.5% of her bodyweight in meat (or egg, or fish, or a combination), per day, which is 150g. I rarely pay more than 40p a day for her food, buying from supermarkets or the butchers (some sell "dog meat" at the end of the day, portioning it up into boxes and freezing until needed.

My dogs' favourite treats are sprouts and cabbage stalks - and it has no effect whatsoever on their "output"
First Goldie I've ever met that isn't a total gannet, in fact he's quite fussy - won't eat $h@p€$, B0n!0$ or $chm@ck0$! It's a pain, as if one of us drops an egg, or has some raw egg left-over, he doesn't want to know. Weirdo!
