We have a Wheaten Marans, Splash Marans, Copper Black Marans and old screamy "Sagey Baby" the cream Legbar. We get four eggs everyday, one pinky beige from Eloise the splash; two chocolate brown eggs from Madeline and Rosemary, the copper black and wheaten; Sage is the Cream Legbar and she lays blue green eggs. They will all be picked up but we find the Marans are very friendly - the CL is most certainly noisy and psycho, which makes her all the more loved...bah, bah, bah, bah, bah, bah!

My various bantams hate being cooped up and the tiniest Japanese bantam loves flying and goes up on the table or onto the roof of the house or up a tree for the sheer joy of living.
