How much will a chook actually eat, if I put a 20kg sack out for my 25 will it ALL be gone by afternoon Do they have a point where they are full??

Why don't you try it and let us all know???

ddl..mine like mash hot with bits in sometimes but the are messier with it and they prefer pellets really

seriously minsky..when I started putting ad-lib pellets out for mine, (which I do by hanging feeders inside the coops to keep them away from wild birds and rain), they went mad for a couple of days..eating twice as much as normal. Then they dropped back to pretty much what they'd been fed anyway. But only pellets. If I put a 25kg bag of corn out they'd eat 'till they were footballs..lol, so that just gets fed as throwout feed as usual.
