Yes Matthew I'm really pleased as it's the first time I've hatched - beginners luck maybe! I did read and read and read and research for about a year before I ventured but now I'm hooked! have a neighbour to dispatch any surplus cockerels so that side is taken care of too. I have 3 hatching today too - one's out and another cheeping. The incy can have a rest for a while now till I get these guys sorted and off to the lottie but then .............................................. who knows!

Nicos - the day olds are speckled sussex (the 3 lighter ones) and the others are from a blue laced pen so theoretically can be blue laced, buff laced and gold laced hence the mix! This is for my "pretty" flock!
