Could I ask for some advice please?
I'm starting to give my chooks porridge again- but I've used up all my previous stock of oats.
( a free, huge sack of breakfast oats)
They are very expensive to buy ( if you can find any) over here...
...so apart from 'importing'...have any of you used crushed oats given to horses to make your porridge? Do you think it would mix 50:50 with 'normal' breakfast oats to make porridge????
Which are the cheapest oats peeps use for their chooks???

I would think that oats for horses would be ok if it's cooked to a gloopy consistency and mixed in with some pellets ...................... unless someone else knows better of course
I love to talk about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about!!
