Way to go Seamus.
If you have to name them I suggest names along the lines of Kiev, Coq Au Vin, Massala, Stir Fry etc. (Not an original thought, there is a Grape who has used some of those names but it will focus you on their ultimate purpose
)
If a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing to excess

We took this approach, not just with chickens but pigs and goats. The ones destined for eating had foodie names (Kid Curry, Pork Chop, CD,= Christmas Dinner, that was the first turkey). It does indeed keep your mind on the purpose. I found it worked best if the 'dinner' beasts were not the only ones of their kind....... Pork Chop had a sister who we kept as a brood sow.Originally posted by Eco-Chic View PostWay to go Seamus.
