An update..........just bought 6X Black Minorca hatching eggs off eBay! They are on the RBST critical list as far as being rare breeds.
Largest of the Spanish birds with white eggs!

I've got 6 of them in the incubator on Day 10 I got them because I thought they were pretty with lovely white ears

I was a bit sneaky........the guy that had them for auction had a 'make me an offer' tab. I checked his feedback and they were �3.50 for six 'Buy it now', but I noticed someone had offered �3 someone else �2.50 and even �2 in the past and offer was accepted.

I offered �2 and they were mine!

Can they be sexed at an early age Maureen?

Well done for getting the eggs for �2, I bid on mine and got them for 99p (starting price), just hope there's a few fertile ones in there at least! A friend was expecting his Orpingtons that he had from eBay to hatch yesterday, but nothing, then when he candled them they were all duff. He's gutted
