Electric chicken netting in Herts

I am looking for a supplier of electric chicken netting within drivable distance of Letchworth in Herts, does anyone know of anywhere?.

I rang them yesterday but didn't get to speak to Frank but the woman who answered the phone said they do not sell it, I have just found a place online that can do next day delivery but was hoping to find someone local so that I could pick it up.

Fox wise we could well have a problem as there is a large one around and it was seen in our garden last week and in the field next to our house yesterday, I think it lives a few hundred yards away, so I think prevention would be better than the cure, although my only neighbour has had a dozen or so chickens for a few years with only a flimsy net for protection and never lost one, but I think it will only be a matter of time so better safe than sorry.

I've hear of Battery chickens but have yet to come across an electric chicken, presumably they run off the mains...............

yes they are very rare and you have to make sure that you get the newer lines otherwise they tend to have a shorter lead and the old 2 pin plugs that sadly wont fit in the standard uk sockets

I'm not selling this product- but it's what I bought- and the postage was very good.
Their back up advice- before and afterwards was brill- quite happy to sell what I actually needed - and not what they could get away with flogging me!
