            On the plus side for me.......my chooks have decided not to go broody! I think it's the change in weather.
            Poor Betty got soaked- so that cooled her down a bit- the idea of sitting in the rain dripping off the espaliered pear tree for 3 weeks mustn't have appealed to her!
            Alice it seems came to her senses as soon as I removed the wooden egg!

            Back to normal...phew!

              yup miss them a lot, especially coco he and pingu were my definite favourites .... but i kow he's happy and that makes me happy the girls miss them too and look very tiny and lost in that big house with just the 3 of them

                    But can you hatch just girls this time? We've just applied for another allotment so that if Coco and Elvis ever decide that this brotherly love thing is a thing of the past they can have a plot each. Coco is gorgeous, but Elvis is great too and both of them gently take food from my grandson's hand so I couldn't ask for more really. They're both bringing us all a lot of pleasure.
                    Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

                      i'm so glad they are behaving,
                      i do kinda want some more babies but i'm thinking of going to the auctions for some ready made ones when sarz is back on her feet ..... if i can wait that long
