I'm off to the UK for 10 days and leaving my guys n gals in the field which is now about 2" high..is it going to be OK to leave it for 10 days?????- or should I strim it first????( should I rake up the cuttings????)...it's raining here- and will be difficult to do in the next couple of days

Well mine were free ranging round the garden and the long grass is seriously long - like a foot or more long. They'd managed to grab it though the fence where it grows on the 'nomansland' where neither tractor nor lawn mower roam!! So I'm guessing that 6 inches (" = inch?) is probably as long as it should get for 'em.
