    Blood in egg

    Ummmm, DD cooking American pancackes for lunch, cracks egg and there's blood in it attached to a little yucky bit just like a fertilized egg only laid today - could I have a transgender?

        I get the impression they are more common as a hen gets older. No problem unless you find them unpleasant. Wouldn't worry me.

          I had one yesterday, had to recycle it back to the chooks as it looked a bit yuk! Not just a blood spot but quite a bit mixed into the white too...
