Howdy Everyone
I'm after some advice. we got 3 ex-battery hens last year. 2 seemed OK but one looked like she was bought from the chilled section in Tesco's. She had few feathers etc.
They've mostly all grown back but our problem is that the other two are pecking her something rotten. She now has a bald spot onher back that we are daily dosing with vaseline.
we've tried spraying her with 'anti-peck' solution and tried to fit 'peck guards' to the other two madams but nothing seems to work.
We don't want to have to get rid of her but it's not looking good. The coop that they are in is big enough for 3 so space isn't the cause.
Any one got any ideas?

. Now I make sure there's a separate bowl at the end of the run where she stays, and I put it there before I let them out. Then when the others are following me to the other end and waiting for me to put the big bowls down, they don't notice that she's got some of her own.
