Chickens that sound like ducks!!!

not sure yet, depends how the cats are with them, ...... i did actually have a dream the other week, it involved one cat each side, the dog on my feet ........ and a little row of chickens roosting on the end of the bed

So, I take it by the fact we're now talking about that ugly stuffed chicken (lol...only kidding Lynda, it's cute...my dog would love it!!) that nobody elses chickens make quacking noises??

I'm going to record them tomorrow so you can all see I'm not making it up!!!

I can't decide if they think they're ducks, or have overheard cars honking and have decided that sounds better than a bok bok!

lol...Oh god, if you're confused then I'm in big trouble!! They don't sound like chickens - I've heard other people's chickens, and they cluck...and bok...ours just honk. That was mild - if you give them spinach it sounds like they're quacking!!!

Maybe I just associate the noise with a quack now, so can't hear it as anything else!!

Still...you've got a bloody cheek being confused at something weird that I've done!!! I'm not the one that's going to sit up all night, nursing a cuddly chicken hybrid thing, waiting for the eggs to hatch...so the babies can sleep in the bed with you!!!

Laughing my socks off here! Can just about cope with quacking ducks but that toy will give em nightmares or an identity crisis or sommat.

Yes i have a chicken who thinks she is a duck,she quacks and follows the ducks around. so much so that she once tried to get into the duck pond then sunk, because she found out chickens unlike ducks dont float.
we also have a duck who is a dirty old man, he has a go at everything, chickens, buckets and pieces of wood.
i am sure he would go for a shag, a booby or a puffin if he has the chance.

they sound like a mix between chickens, geese and ducks to tell you the truth! Have there been many flocks of geese flying past your house recently? because that may be the problem!

Dont want to sound rude but have you got the speakers switched on? And yes I have tried without them....

have you got speakers and are they plugged in ?? and yes i've done that too

if it's just the volume, on the right hand side of your screen at the bottom next to the date, you should see a thing that looks like a speaker, click that with your mouse and move the slider up, and make sure mute isn't ticked.
