Got my ex-bats at Last

Finally got our 4 girls and they are wonderful, they are so much fun 2 are already feeding from our hands and laid 4 eggs yesterday, amazing!!! We have said if need be we will rescue some more, i just wish i had the time and money to do more for these poor hens. They have got individual and loving characters. Spent most of our day yesterday just sitting with them. First time we have relaxed in months. I advise anyone to get these wonderful birds, they are so majestic and proud.

Oooh yes, please pics especially as you got them from the same rescue as ours so we can compare notes. We did exactly the same over the weekend, just sat there for hours watching them. They're fascinating and their individual personalities are already coming out

i will post the piccies sometime this week so watch this space. nipped home lunchtime and they had laid another 2 eggs and were eating and drinking, so all looks fine, fngers crossed
