      Didn’t do a taste test to be honest.. just incase its something inedible since its been hard to pinpoint what the tree is! On a quick sniff test its got to be a plumb/peach type tree

        To the best of my knowledge there are no poisonous plums, but if you want to be ultra-cautious just cut off a small piece with a knife and try that. I don't recognise the variety, it may even be a seedling, but I reckon you could probably use it for jam at any rate.

              Look like myrobalan plums to me - there quite a few different types with different colours etc of these, OK for jam
