    checked my spuds and a total loss due to weather the ones i could use had white spots on as you can see
    tryed to post this on friday when i dug them up and i was going to ask are these ok to eat but seeing as forum ws down i couldn't post so my question now is seeing as i have eaten the above are the fluffy spots just down th the damp thanks

    My allotment neighbour dug up some of his potatoes and they had small white spots all over them. He checked on google and said they were enlarged pores due to the wet earth.

      Can't see your pic Nosferato, but the raised white spots you describe on the potatoes are due to overwatering - all the rain. They are harmless and I don't think they affect the quality of the potatoes.
