  • Can I have a pea please Bob?

    Woohoo!

I was on the plot last night planting up some peas and dwarf beans. I glanced accross at the Sugarsnap peas that have been there a while (see blog), and low and behold, what did I see? The plant has several pea "pods". I nearly fell off my, well nothing really 'cos I was just stood there in my flip-flops....

I took some photos with my phone (didn't think to take the camera), but I've no idea how to get them on my computer, so you'll just have to believe me for now...

    How exciting!

They do tend to sneak up on you HeyWayne. We went on hols when there were just flowers on the peas and there was a tea-full when we got back! Enjoy them!

They did taste yummy. We just ate them straight off the plant, raw. Very sweet - but then I guess that's why they're called "Sugar"snap peas...
