At the moment I will have an area 2m x 4m free for planting, excluding the potential allotment
I have a good range of seeds ready to get started and was just wondering if there is anything I can start off now to be ready to go into the ground in spring, or am I jumping the gun?
Our conservatory is heated, but is usually a few degrees cooler than the house but significantly warmer than outside, I don't know the exact temperature range so I shall get a thermometer.
I can also use most of the windowsills in the house if I need to.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

, in your conservatory then by supplementing the weak sunlight you would be able to grow anything you like! For seedlings a lighting rig (usually multiple rows of fluorescent tubes, or LEDs) will do [they have to be within a inch or two of the seedling, so need plants of uniform height].
