Hi i'e just got my first comfrey plants and would love some advice on the various uses of comfrey and tips on how to use it thanx

That's a brilliant link, thanks. Have just bought a comfrey plant this morning (�1.10 at the Farmers' Market) and wasn't too sure what to do with it. Will be putting it in a reasonable sized tub tomorrow and cutting off the flowers which are already blooming. Am looking forward to great toms when it gets going but will be comparing it's effectivness with my usual seaweed feed for interest.Originally posted by eskymo View Post

I now know where I can use the comfrey tea but can anybody give me advice of what nettle brew is good for?

accordin to bob flowerdew,nettle tea is very rich with nitrogen and should be used for leafy plants.it also increases resistance to infections and attacks.ggoddessComment

Whether rightly or wrongly I use it on everything, except tomatoes. I always give them the "proper" bought food!~
