I agree. I'd have thought this is ideal weather to harden off plants in - providing it's not too windy for them. Temperatures are quite high overnight and not too warm during the day so it's presumably less harsh on the plants in terms of the day/night temperature variation.

My tomatoes in baskets are looking really well after planting out at the weekend, and they're less likely to dry out in all these showers.

Peas are indeed hardy, but it is the squash Selfraising is looking after for me till the weekend that I am concerned about!
