Radish leafs

I am growing radishes in my green house and they have two large leafs and now they are getting two more spikey leafs in the middle. Is this normal?

Sounds normal to me.

The first set of leaves are the seed leaves, the second set are the true leaves.

radish leaves get quite bushy I think, considering the size of the radish! all sounds well growingkasbar!

good oh. Just thought i would check with my fellow grapes before i ended up growing something resembling the little shop of horrors!

The radishes that i`m growing have leaves that initially resemble the ace of clubs from a pack of cards but then they elongate as they grow larger.

I wouldn't grow them in a greenhouse, tbh.
I've always had more success if they are kept on the cool/shady side.

I'm in agreement on growing in cool shade - I have rows of radishes between practically everything in the garden as they are so quick from seed to harvest.

Definitely grow them outside and preferably in partial shade at least. Like lettuce they prefer cooler conditions. The spikey hairy leaves can also be eaten. If you harvest enough radishes at one go you can steam the tops. Very nice!
