slug traps?

bought a pack of 2 from poundland,

has anyone used them and do they work ok?

Are they like a small dish with a lid? That's the ones I've seen. I've made my own with the bottoms of plastic bottles. The slugs really seem to like the cheap tesco beer I've been putting in mine! Got 20 in one the other day!

just use buried yoghurt pots and a touch of beer.These are just as good as buying traps.

Ground beetles can fall in these and not be able to get out. Since they eat slugs they're our friends I put a stick in the pot so they can climb out on it. Luckily the slugs are too occupied drowning in the beer to try the same way out
