Feel as though we've achieved a lot today - the shed's been ordered, 50 gravel boards to make the beds and sides for borders arrive on Monday together with a piece of polycarbonate for the coldframe lid and flags for under the shed. Have been digging all afternoon and I can't stand up straight but I'm happy

Happy days martini! You need a long soak in the bath with a large glass of wine methinks! It's brill when things start coming together isn't it? I could be cheeky and say I'd love to come and view your hard work - only when you are ready though! You could come and see my back garden, but I've got work to do on it first before I want visitors! Thanks Dexter - as soon as the beds are in and it's a bit easier on the eye, you're more than welcome to come round - the state it's in at the moment I'd be too ashamed and I'd love to come and see yours one day. Getting in the bath soon for a long soak and I'll take your advice on the glass (or 2) of wine
