  • Problem with my tomatoes

Hi … I have grown tomatoes for several years and never seen this before. I have 12 plants in my greenhouse and this is happening on about four them at the moment. Could somebody please tell me what it is and will it spread to the other tomato plants.
    Thanks

This looks like blossom end rot. It's not infectious, and future tomatoes on the same plant should be ok. It's caused by inconsistent watering/conditions too dry. Not surprising with the kind of dry and hot weather we've been having, there is only so much watering one could do with good conscience. I have it on several of my outdoor tomatoes as well. Just make sure to keep the soil moist more consistently.
