  • Mini buddleia pot

I have a pretty mini buddleia, it’s in a large pot with a saucer attached, but I’m thinking of moving it to an ordinary pot, so it doesn’t sit in water like it is at the moment! Thoughts please?

They are fairly drought proof plants.
I would go for well drained whatever you plant it in.

It’s a good idea or tip the water out & put the pot next to a wall or somewhere sheltered under shrubbery or somewhere. The pot it’s in,you could put some stones at the bottom inch so the compost drains easier for next time? I don’t know if that would help,in my head it sounds ok,none of my pots have saucers outside, lettuce would like it

Thanks, it came complete with pot and ‘attached saucer’, but with so much rain recently, I thought it might actually rot!
