  • Dead or dying plants in raised beds

I have a dying potato plant in one of my raised beds . Is it better to remove or just let it wither away.

Take it out and bin it would be my advice - could be the dry weather which killed it, but if its disease you don't want that left to possibly infect other plants.

Some of mine haven’t flowered,if they don’t flower more energy goes to the potato, have a little search under the soil, you’ve probably got potatoes

Are the dead leaves and haulms dry or slimy?

I pulled it and low and behold a dozen or so perfectly normal Arran Pilot spuds unearthed
